ABOUT US

My name is Jessica Cowan, owner of PK Dance- an independent studio located in Yucaipa, CA. I have over 25 years’ experience in dance, including: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Musical Theater. In 2011, I earned my B.A. degree in the Liberal Arts- with a concentration in Child and Human Development, from Cal State University of San Bernardino. In addition to my many years of experience taking and teaching technique in a dance studio; I also took courses like “Dance Appreciation” and “Creative Dance in the Classroom,” while attending CSUSB. I am a stay-at-home mom of nearly 5 years now; to two beautiful girls- Karter (4 ½) and Piper (3) and my next journey is to make this studio something great for the moms of our community. PK Dance's slogan is "A studio for me AND mom" because in-addition to offering children's classes (including infants and toddlers), we also offer Mommy and Me classes, Barre for Mom, Jazz for Mom, Yoga for Mom and more to come!
